While Rage Against the Machine's performance may have been censored at NBC, their anthem,, is now seen on the side of all Nike products due to the popularity of the band in the worlds of sports and athletics. The band has also been involved in various sports-related activities in the past. In the week following the event, starting on April 17, 1996, the band performed a shortened version of the song at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, marking the first time since 1992 that RATM played to an audience hetereopathia. Following this performance, the group performed at the U.S. Olympic trials.  Then in 1997, RATM was included in a commercial for Nike's \"Just Do It\" campaign, and went on to appear on ABC's NASCAR championship race 500.
